Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity receives generous donations from local organizations, companies, faith communities and individuals. If you are interested in sponsoring a house or other project, there are many exciting opportunities available. Surprisingly enough, one out of every four families in Beaufort and Jasper Counties is living in the most deplorable of conditions: without heat, hot water, proper ventilation, little or no plumbing, faulty electrical systems, structurally deficient or unsafe housing. Many live in overcrowded conditions, some far exceeding building and fire capacity codes. Those in public housing contend with increasing incidents of crime, drug sales and violence. But you can do something about it by partnering with Habitat and joining us in our mission to build simple, decent, and affordable homes for low-income families in our community.

Faith in Action - As a Christian ministry, it is appropriate that the church - Christ's body in the world, is Habitat's primary partner in this important work. Churches of all sizes and denominations have experienced profound blessings by putting their faith into action and building houses in partnership with their brothers and sisters in need, showing that the need for a simple, decent place to live transcends the beliefs that divide us. Habitat believes that when people of different faiths join together to build a house, walls are broken down, replaced by bridges of understanding and fellowship. Giving your time and talents makes faith come alive and provides a tangible opportunity to live out your faith.

Sponsor a Women Build Home - Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity International program that encourages women to have fun and make a difference by building homes and communities. Nearly 1,000 Habitat houses have been built by women crews around the world. Each year 150 or more homes are added as affiliates, donors and sponsors discover the impact of women volunteers and their resources. Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity has built three Women Build homes, and complete house sponsorships are available for $50,000.
