Do you have an older car, truck, van, trailer, RV or boat taking up valuable space in your yard? Your car donation will support Habitat for Humanity's local and global mission of eliminating poverty housing and homelessness and save you the time and energy of finding a buyer. By donating a car to our vehicle donation program, you can help Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity build houses in partnership with families in need of a hand up, not a hand out.
It is quick and easy to donate automobiles, trucks, boats, RV's, motorcycles, construction equipment and other vehicles ~ running or not! Plus, you may be eligible for a tax deduction. (Consult your tax advisor or the IRS for details.)
To donate a car, truck, boat or RV to Cars for Homes™ - Habitat's official car donation program, call (877) 277-4344 toll free or visit www.carsforhomes.org and let us take care of the rest. It's a convenient way to supportHilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity and create more space in your driveway! |

HILTON HEAD
REGIONAL HABITAT FOR HUMANITY affiliate
was founded in 1990, and is a nonprofit, ecumenical
Christian housing ministry serving Southern Beaufort
and Jasper Counties. By the end of 2011, we will
have built more than 91 simple, decent, and affordable
houses in the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton,
South Carolina area providing affordable housing
to over 300 people in need. We depend on local
banks, skilled workers, landowners, faith-based
organizations, Habitat homeowners, and other people
of good will working in partnership to provide
the means, land, and materials to build homes
for carefully screened applicants. Without them,
Habitat for Humanity could not provide homes to
our community.
Habitat
is the only organization building new homes in
Southern Beaufort County and Jasper County for
those residents who earn between 30% and 70% of
the median income. Without land, we simply cannot
fulfill our mission of eliminating substandard
housing everywhere it exists in our area. We ask
that those individuals in the community who have
knowledge of land available to donate or sell
at a reasonable price contact our office at (843)
757-5864. You'll make a dream a reality for a
local family!
